Dr Tim Yates is a Consultant Neurologist in the Headache & Facial Pain Group at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, appointed in 2021. After qualifying with distinction from Cambridge in 2009, Tim trained in London, with higher training in neurology at Queen Square and the Royal Free. He gained his PhD from Cambridge. His interests include the management of refractory headache disorders and facial pain. Tim co-authors the regional headache guidance, advises on NICE Technology Appraisals of headache treatments and supports the Headache Academy course. He has contributed to scientific papers and books, and spoken at international meetings.
