The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the independent regulator of health and social care in England. They make sure health and social care services provide people with safe, effective, compassionate, high-quality care and they encourage care services to improve. Rowenna is a policy manager within CQC’s Primary and Community Health Services Policy Team. She has been with the CQC since 2015 having previously worked in the charity sector. Rowenna currently leads on CQC’s policy relating to the regulation of general practice.
