Philippa qualified as a registered nurse in 1994 and achieved a Diploma in Community Nursing (health visitor in 1998). Philippa has 34years experience of being part of the NHS, 25 years of clinical experience in different roles based in the community working with families and young people, community nursing and in prison health care. Philippa moved into quality and patient safety work to continue to look at service improvement and patient safety and now works as a Senior project manager in GP federation- Yorkshire Health Partners, supporting the set up of new services including an award winning children and young peoples social prescribing service for the East Riding. Philippa has a long history of providing supervision to other staff including, child protection supervision, mentorship and support to students. Philippa undertook the core supervision model of training that Sarah Goode delivered and has used it and adapted it to support the ARRS team within a PCN in the East Riding.
