I’m a GP Executive Partner with over 10 years of experience as a doctor, with a particular focus on Primary Care Workforce. Over the last few years, I’ve specialised in Recruitment and Retention within the GP workforce through my roles at BSol ICS and NHSE Midlands. I have led and implemented successful workforce retention schemes, such as the New to General Practice Fellowship Scheme and GP Flexible Staff Pool scheme, both of which have been cited as 'Exemplar' by NHSE. I was proud to have been awarded 'Clinical Lead of the Year' by BSol CCG for this very piece of work. I believe the future of a sustainable NHS relies on an effective General Practice. Therefore, a flexible, engaged, motivated workforce is cornerstone in being able to deliver the strategic aspirations of a long term NHS.
