Dr Matea Deliu is an academic General Practitioner and Clinical Lead for Digital Delivery at NHS South East London ICB (government body), where she steers large-scale digital transformation and serves as Clinical Safety Officer. With more than a decade of designing, evaluating and scaling technology-enabled models of care across the NHS, she blends a PhD in Health Informatics with frontline insight to modernise primary care, optimise patient pathways and safeguard safety at every step. Her portfolio spans AI-driven population-health analytics, virtual wards, remote-monitoring services and the integration of decision-support tools within EPRs, consistently delivering measurable gains in outcomes, equity and operational efficiency. As GP Lead for the South East London Workforce Implementation Plan, she also champions innovative strategies to strengthen the GP workforce.
