Mark Scott

Head of Humanities, BYRCHALL HIGH SCHOOL
Mark Scott is a myeloma patient of four years. His myeloma was misdiagnosed for several months prior to diagnosis in August 2018, he was left bedbound and with several spinal fractures. He underwent six months of chemotherapy and a stem cell transfer. Happily in July 2019 his myeloma was declared undetectable. Mark has since returned to work as a school teacher and is a passionate advocate for improved diagnosis of myeloma in younger sufferers.
