Krystian Dawiec

Advanced Clinical Practitioner (Primary Care), WSEC PCN MSK Lead, Health and Beyond
Krystian is a Primary Care Advanced Clinical Practitioner and Primary Care Network MSK Lead working for Health & Beyond and Wolverhampton South East Collaborative Primary Care Network. He also works at Physiox physiotherapy clinic in Wolverhampton. Previously he has worked as a First Contact Practitioner and Consultant MSK Physiotherapist. He was awarded Saunders’ Prize and Kesson’s Prize in 2015 for his achievements as an MSK Practitioner. Krystian has 12 years of clinical experience and was one of the pioneers developing the First Contact Physiotherapist role in the West Midlands, Northamptonshire, Worcestershire and North Lincolnshire. Initially, he started working as MSK Physiotherapist and upon completion of his Masters in Advanced Clinical Practice he began working in Primary Care Medicine alongside General Practitioners. He is a visiting lecturer at the University of Wolverhampton and University of Plymouth. He delivers clinical workshops at various national conferences. He is a HEE certified clinical trainer and supervisor of Musculoskeletal First Contact Practitioners. In 2022 he has been elected as the Co-President of the prestigious Primary Care Rheumatology and Musculoskeletal Medicine Society where his contributions help shape the future of the physiotherapy and general practice profession.
