Dr Katie Bramall-Stainer qualified from UCL in 2003 and completed her GP training in 2008 having led the BMA’s UK GP Trainees and nationally negotiated for junior doctors during the MTAS crisis. She was a partner in practice, and a medical director for NW London LMCs prior to becoming Chief Executive of Cambridgeshire LMC in 2019. In 2021 she was elected Chair of the LMC Conference and in August 2023 stood down from this role when she was elected Chair of GPC England. She practises locally to her home in Hertfordshire.
