Georgina has been a mental health nurse for 20 years. She has mainly worked in secondary care, but for the last 5 years, she has worked in Primary Care as the Practice's sole mental health professional and is a NMP.
Georgina is the Lead Professional Nurse Advocate (PNA) for Primary Care in Northamptonshire, working for the Training Hub in delivering this service county-wide.
In addition to this, Georgina has collaborated with a local organisation WORTH, looking at the benefit of the Alpha-Stim device for patients and staff alike. She delivers QOF SMI training to primary care staff. Georgina has experience as an expert witness.
She is passionate about parity of esteem and staff well-being and believes networking and collaborating is key!
