Dr Ahmed is a GP Partner and Trainer at Wilmslow Health Centre, where he has served for over 25 years and trained the next generation of GPs for more than two decades. A recognised innovator in primary care, he and his practice have consistently been at the forefront of service transformation, pioneering radical models such as Total Triage through the Wilmslow Triage System and leading the implementation of the first new NHS primary care clinical computer system in 25 years (Medicus). His current focus is the safe, equitable adoption of AI in general practice to reduce workload, improve access, and safeguard the human connection that underpins primary care.
