Sir David Sloman spent his 40-year career in healthcare management and leadership and was awarded a knighthood in the 2017 New Year's honours list in recognition of his services to the NHS. He has held CEO and board roles at hospital, regional and national level, culminating in board membership of NHS England. David led strategic change programmes at these levels and led the NHS in London and England through successive waves of the COVID pandemic. He has extensive experience in complex stakeholder management and high-profile clinical and corporate governance challenges. David is a senior advisor to Boston Consulting Group, Siemens Healthineers, and the Institute for Healthcare Improvement. He is also Visiting Professor at the Institute of Global Health Innovation, Imperial College London, and a Senior Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine.
