Anne joined NHS England in 2015 to establish and lead the Pharmacy Integration Programme for NHS England. The programme of work aims to develop and embed at scale new NHS clinical services for community pharmacy and support the clinical development of pharmacy professionals across primary care. The Pharmacy Integration Fund has supported the development of new roles in general practice, care homes and integrated urgent care settings working with stakeholders to improve patient experience and health outcomes from medicines. Anne's early career began in hospital pharmacy specialising in HIV/AIDS , medicines information and urgent care. Before joining NHS England Anne was the Chief Pharmacist for NHS Direct leading a team of pharmacists delivering innovative remote care and supporting the national health information service delivering online services.
