PSR: A threat or an opportunity? What the Provider Selection Regime means for General Practice
Since 1 January 2024 the Provider Selection Regime (“PSR”) has significantly altered the way services are being commissioned. These new procurement rules apply to all clinical service contracts including enhanced services, GMS, PMS and APMS primary care contracts, community services and outpatient services.
Failure to understand how this change could impact on your practice and your PCN may result in you losing revenue by not participating in new contracts and new services.
This session will help you to understand the PSR, why it may represent a risk and how to maximise opportunities by preparing to respond to it.
